Beauty at the Bay offers the Soprano Titanium Near Infrared (NIR) Skin Tightening treatment.

An effective, safe and non-invasive treatment for plumping out fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating your own natural collagen production to give a fresher, more youthful looking complexion. Treating the face, neck and jawline, this anti-ageing treatment uses lasers to restore the tone and tautness of the skin with no down time and minimal discomfort.

NIR is suitable for all skin types and most areas of the face including:

• chin and jowls
• cheeks and neck
• neck and décolleté

How many treatments will I need?

This varies depending on the area being treated and condition of your skin. Our highly trained and experienced laser practitioner will advise you on the best course however in general, a series of up to six treatments at monthly intervals is usually recommended to achieve the desired result of smoother, tighter skin.

When will i see the results?

You should notice an immediate improvement following a treatment, however you will see further improvements develop gradually as new collagen is formed and your skin tightens further.

How long with the results last?

Results can be maintained with an NIR facial every month.

Will it hurt?

This treatment is virtually pain free. You will experience a warming sensation in the area being treated but most of our clients find this very relaxing and have been known to fall asleep during the treatment.

Are there any side effects?

You may experience lingering warmth, tightness, swelling or redness in the treated area, which fades within a few minutes or hours of treatment. Generally, you can receive a treatment and go back to work or to other activities without any recovery time.
