Read here how we have done everything possible to ensure that our salon is Covid safe. Salon owner Marie has sat a number of intensive courses in order to gain the most up to date knowledge available and in addition she has Mental Health, Suicide Awareness, and Looking after Yourself and Others training as well as the WHO Guidance on Mask Use.

Our team have received intensive training both in the salon as well as undertaking industry qualifications to help them provide you with a safe and relaxing environment whenever you visit us.

Booking

Our friendly team will be delighted to talk through our treatments and recommend the best option for you. Please book as far in advance as possible to ensure that the appointment time you require is available. You can also book online through our app which is available to download through the app store.

Patch testing and allergies

Certain treatments – LVL lash lift, tinting, HD Brows, lashes and tanning – require you to undertake a patch test before you have the service. This must be done 24 hours in advance of the treatment. If you have any allergies or sensitivities please make us aware before your treatment so that we can tailor the service that we offer you.

Arrival

Please arrive ten minutes before your scheduled appointment time so that we can check you in and get you to fill out a consultation form.

Alcohol

We have an alcohol licence and can offer cocktails and Prosecco alongside your treatments.

Indulge with us

You can book Afternoon Tea alongside your treatments with us. The homemade tea is courtesy of a local cake maker and can be adapted for allergies and intolerance’s. Please enquire at time of booking as this has to be ordered in advance. Why not really push the boat out and add a cocktail or glass of Prosecco to your visit?

Mummy and Baby mornings

We have a private Beehive Suite, where we can offer new mums a host of services, and you can bring your babies along. The Suite is away from the main salon,
so should your baby wake, you can nurse in the privacy of the room without fear of disturbing others.

Cancellation policy

Thank you for your custom which is very important to us. We must, with respect draw your attention to our policy regarding missed or cancelled appointments which we ask you to observe. Any cancellation or rescheduling of a treatment must be notified at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment. All cancellations received after this time will be charged at the full rate. Non-arrival for treatments will also incur full costs being charged.

Gift vouchers

Beauty at the Bay Gift Vouchers make excellent presents. They can be purchased direct from the salon or over the phone and we will mail directly to the recipient. You can also purchase vouchers via our website. Gift vouchers can be spent on treatments or in our Retail Boutique. They are valid for 6 months from the date of issue and are non-refundable.

We have a huge range of lovely gifts in our Boutique shop. We also offer a gift wrap service.

Private hire and pop-up events

The salon is available for private hire. We are also able to hold a ‘pop-up’ mini salon at corporate events. Please get in contact for more information.

Group bookings

With exclusive use of our Beehive during your visit, party in style whilst sipping cocktails as we help you celebrate your events. Ideal for parties of between 2 to 10 guests.

Medical Conditions and Pregnancy

Please make us aware at the time of booking of any medical conditions or allergies, so we can advise on which treatments are best suited.
